Kind of at a loss for words as this is a national accolade that we hold in very high regard. It’s as clean of an award as it gets since it’s based solely on reviews and not any a writer’s opinion. We didn’t buy ads, we didn’t solicit votes, it’s pure.
How It Came to Be
Trip Advisor named us as one of the best 10 restaurants in America based on Reviews. Once that story came out we got inundated with new business, we were and are very thankful for that. It was crazy, the article came out with no warning and it was all hands on deck. And in this business, crazy is good as long as it is controlled.
It’s carried a lot of weight, Buzzfeed, CNN and USA Today took it from there and ran the story in their own publications.
When all of it happened I was at a loss for words, a national accolade that we hold in very high regard. It’s as clean of an award as it gets since it’s based solely on reviews and not any one writer’s opinion. We didn’t buy ads, we didn’t solicit votes, it’s pure.
I use TripAdvisor personally and it’s my most trusted resource for knowing what is going to be a great restaurant, or hotel etc when I’m away or even when I want to venture out locally.
To be on this list with so many other pizzerias that I respect is also very humbling, I really don’t process praise well but this one had me stop in my tracks pull my car over to breathe and take inventory of truly how much work and effort our staff puts in. It’s incredible that it’s been noticed not just on a local scale, or even a state level, but nation wide.
We truly do seek to be excellent and here’s this little pizzeria in the middle of America in a town called Tulsa, on the same list as Austin, Boston and New York. We’re just gonna keep doing what we do, I hope that it this lets those who haven’t tried us, or would never think to visit Tulsa know that there is something special going on here.
